Jim “Spence” Spencer, CAP®. MS has over 35 years of non-profit and fundraising experience.  He ran a national non-profit organization when he was 27 years old.  He has experience in healthcare and higher education.  He also has experience in corporate sponsorships and grants management.  As his most recent full-time position, he raised more money than anyone else in the organization’s history. 

Spence has a BS in Music Education and BM in Marketing from Penn West University (formerly Clarion State University).  He also earned his MS in Human Organizational Sciences from Villanova University (while working full time).  He later earned his Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) from the American College of Financial Services. 

Spence has been a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals; National Council of Charitable Gift Planners and the New Jersey Council of Charitable Gift Planners where he has served as Council President and currently serves as the Chapter Secretary.
